: The designer created an open space kitchen to update the closed galley kitchen that cut-off the panoramic view to ocean. Hidden cupboards and pullouts were installed in the island for full functionality and custom made closet organizers were installed in the hall closet to house the deep freeze and pantry. It was extremely important for me to complement the view of water and city with a warm colour palate and I highlighted the light reflections in the water with a backsplash that has a reflective quality when light shines on it.

: Unlike most new penthouse designs, we did not go for the utilitarian modern look. The intention was to create a home in the sky. With warm colours, rich wood finishes, natural metal, wood and tile accents; we took the cold boring space and made it inviting, comfortable and beautiful.
