Salvatore Ferragamo Retail Store Renovation by Klondike Contracting
Posted on May 24th, 2012
Creating shoes since he was nine years old, Salvatore Ferragamo has been credited with the invention of the cork wedge heel and the invisible sandal. As pioneers of the industry, the Ferragamo Group of companies has become one of the biggest names in shoes, accessories and Hollywood, driving hard at Salvatore’s dream to “dress a woman from toes to head”. From Judy Garland’s ruby slippers in The Wizard of Oz in 1939, to Madonna’s footwear in Evita to clothing and accessories for today’s biggest stars, Ferragamo’s imaginative design has kept them relevant and successful.
At Klondike, we love innovative design in every industry. Thus, we are very proud to announce that, after a very competitive and extensive tender amongst top-ranked general contractors, we will be working with the Salvatore Ferragamo Group to renovate their 3,000 SF retail store on the corner of Robson and Hornby in Downtown Vancouver! We are pleased to say that demolition is now complete and the tenant improvement work is well underway and running smoothly.
Klondike Contracting is honoured to be managing such an prestigious project and we are excited to unveil this gorgeous new concept store later this summer. In the meantime, for your fix of all things Ferragamo, check out their temporary location at 565 Howe St (between Dunsmuir and Pender)
