Prior to starting our kitchen renovations, we had done research and selected 4 contractors to interview.  A deciding factor on choosing Klondike was Burton’s warm personality, thoroughness, details and professionalism on that first visit.  He came prepared with samples of itemized cost illustrations to give us a sense of where the costs add up and answered our many questions.  Klondike has received many awards as proof of their standard of work.  As our renovations progressed there was always close communication with Designer Kelly and Project Coordinator, Mikiko on a frequent basis.  Several times we changed plans along the way and these were taken in stride and acted upon promptly.  When the cabinets were installed and an oversight was noticed in the depth to the fridge, full responsibility was taken and the cabinets were replaced immediately without question.  This made for happy us knowing that the dollars spent would be up to our expectations.  What we also noticed from start to finish was how organized and clean the site was at all times.  Existing rooms and furniture were well protected from dirt and damage.   We believe that aside from the quality work of their trades team, what really made a difference was their work warranty and promptness in getting things corrected for any discrepancies whatsoever.  With all these positive factors, we have invited them to return to renovate our bathroom/ensuite for 2011.  We absolutely would not hesitate to recommend Klondike to those who want a job well done.  Thanks Klondike, we look forward to using our new kitchen and bathrooms.

The coordination and communication done by your project manager was excellent and I had felt probably went above and beyond the scope of her job description. Many of the tradesmen who were at my place consistently commented on the fact that Klondike has design consultants who were of high quality and “really knew what they were doing”. To my relief, everything seemed to fall in place and I must comment on how friendly all the tradesmen were. I thought they were all respectful, friendly and a bonus for me was that they were good to my little dog. The Teamwork was excellent!

We recently had the pleasure of dealing with Klondike Contracting when we hired their property maintenance services for our home. Everyone we dealt with at the company including the receptionist and the workers were extremely polite and professional.

Due to that experience, we contacted the company again for carpentry work and painting. The carpenters were excellent however the painting was less than desirable in terms of quality. When we contacted our project manager, he responded promptly and professionally and sent another painter over to our home to redo the work with no hesitation or cost to us.
