Klondike Contracting is currently in the midst of two important projects for the City of Vancouver. One of them requires our general contracting services for the addition and upgrade of washrooms and the water main located at 3214 West 10th Avenue, comprising of the construction of a new DCW line to the existing water main, demolition and upgrade of branch water lines, and construction of new and renovated washrooms.

We are also working for the City on a second project, providing the same services for the supplu of all equipment and services for the City’s Phase 1 for 2780 East Broadway including demolition and hazardous material remediation. Covering a size of approximately 38,000 SF, we are also delivering design responsibility and implementation of a fire protection system that ensures the safety of existing tenants in the building as an interim measure in preparation for the City’s Phase 2.

Working for the City requires a Contractor and Construction Management company that has the necessary capability and experience with tenant improvement work to efficiently and cost-effectively perform and complete the work. We understand the unique challenges and requirements of these types of projects and possess extensive background in successfully completing public institutional projects that have aggressive scheduling and an extraordinary level of detail. We’re excited to take on projects in which we can apply our expertise and will update our readers here as things progress!
