We’re so pleased to have completed a tenant improvement project for our client, the COAST Performance Rehabilitation Centre (www.coastperformancerehab.com). Our client is a movement-focused, multi-disciplinary team that educate individuals as to how their body operates and functions as a whole.

Collaborating with IBI Group Architects (www.ibigroup.com) was a pleasure, as we started with an empty shell in a new building. As per the client’s mandate, this project was sustainably developed: systems, products, materials and methods were selected to minimize energy consumption, incorporate sustainable materials and improve indoor environmental quality with the aim of creating a more sustainable building. This was a huge top-to-bottom project with KC starting from the ground up from base building work all the way to the general scope of work: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architecture woodwork, steed stud, dry wall, electrical and flooring.

The new physiotherapy space is bright and welcoming, with views overlooking the lovely North Vancouver surrounds. More importantly, the main room is spacious enough to house their equipment and schedule visits with their patients at the same time. Little design touches are scattered throughout the clinic that make it stand out from the rest: the neutral colour palette of grey, white and blue; the Stanley Park Seawall images that adorn the smaller patient rooms; the bright-green resilient athletic rubber flooring in the main room, just to mention a few.

We’re delighted to provide the knowledgable and passionate COAST team of physiotherapists, athletic therapists, registered massage therapists and chiropractors with the space necessary for them to carry out manual therapy, treat acute and chronic injuries, and implement exercise-based approaches to rehabilitation. COAST is changing the way rehab is done and we’re glad to be a part of it!
