Klondike Contracting is pleased to announce that we are pursuing an Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Certificate of Recognition (COR). We are committed to workplace and worker health and safety and our decision to apply for the COR is in line with our efforts to demonstrating leadership and continual improvement in this field.
We are currently putting together a comprehensive occupational health and safety management system which will include senior management leadership, safe work procedures, health & safety training and instruction, hazard investigation, inspection, incident investigation, program administration and a system audit. To that end, we are starting out the new year with the creation and implementation of a joint health and safety committee that will bring workers together to identify and resolve health and safety concerns in the workplace. As a company, we understand the need to incorporate this management system into the rest of our business processes and we are aiming to continuously identity hazards and control risks.
