Klondike Contracting is delighted to announce our latest high-end commercial project – the very first Hublot store in Canada (www.hublot.com). This world-renowned Swiss watch brand is seeking to spread its presence in North America with a brand-new sleek boutique located in the heart of Vancouver’s luxury retail district on Alberni Street and close to the brand-new Trump Tower (www.trumphotels.com/vancouver). Famed for its unique, timeless watches, Hublot started out as an independent luxury watch making business and eventually became a part of the LVMH luxury goods conglomerate (www.lvmh.com) in 2008.
You might have heard of Hublot in the news lately – Hublot dazzled Baselworld 2017 with their launch of the Techframe Ferrari 70 Years Tourbillon Chronograph (https://www.lvmh.com/news-documents/news/baselworld-2017-interview-with-ricardo-guadalupe-ceo-of-hublot/) as well as the new Loving Butterfly Automaton watch (features a fluttering butterfly pulling a cherub in a chariot with its wheels) and the MP-09 Tourbillon Bi-Axis (a timepiece that boasts a 5-day power reserve).
Hublot has also recently completed a successful 24 months in their partnership with Ferrari. This lucrative partnership culminated in the Magic Gold – the famous first ever scratch-resistant 18-carat gold bezel watch; a timepiece made of the hardest gold in the world.
We’re very excited to bring Hublot’s design, in collaboration with dkstudio architects inc (www.dkstudio.ca), into reality and can’t wait to bring their striking array of watches to the Canadian public. With Hublot boutiques scattered across the globe in cities such as Paris, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas and New York, we’re sure their Vancouver boutique is going to be a gorgeous addition. Keep a close eye on our blog for further developments; we’re keen to show you more in the coming weeks!
