Klondike Contracting is excited to embark upon our latest commercial work – a tenant improvement project for Khalsa Credit Union’s new branch at their headquarters in Surrey as well as a new 5000 SF, two-storey branch in Vancouver! We’re collaborating with M.Saar Architecture This financial institution is looking to build contemporary, progressive, open-plan spaces that are customer-centric, and we’re delighted to come in with our construction management services.

Projects concerning financial cooperatives often have high and exacting standards and this project is no different with a scope of work that encompasses the build-out of bank offices, conference rooms, teller stations, automated teller stations, back-of-house operations and employee spaces. As projects such as these often require improvements that aren’t required by most retailers – issues of security & technology, vault space, storefront and mezzanine floors aren’t uncommon in financial cooperatives and banks, for example – it is essential to have a team that understand these unique and inherent business characteristics and how to address these project features accurately, on time and within budget.

Be sure to check out our blog in the coming weeks for more updates to these projects!
