For the interior of the school, we went right down to the studs. New ducting, drywall, windows, flooring and more. The windows we used inside the hallway (photo below), took a great deal of time and work. Many people are struggling with product shortages during and post pandemic. We are no strangers to that struggle. These specific windows were extremely hard to get and thankfully they did eventually come. One of the many new rooms inside the school are for a new government run daycare. This daycare will help thousands of parents in the community who are struggling to find adequate childcare for their children. We also were able to give the staff a new room for themselves to recharge and grow greater relationships with each other. Huge thank you to all our partnering trades who helped make this project come to life and to the Burnaby School District for this amazing opportunity.
