We are proud to have been awarded the construction management services for another school district – School District #41 (Burnaby)!

We’re kicking off 2020 with an exciting and complex project – the upgrade and development of a childcare centre at the Marian Learning Resource Centre, as well as the installation of four permanent portables at various locations.

As part of the district’s three-phased plan for Creating Childcare Opportunities within the Burnaby School District (placing childcare centres at key schools via a ‘hub’ approach), Klondike Contracting will be participating in Phase 2 – a $15-million dollar phase that will see 370 new childcare spaces created at Rosser, Marlborough, Westridge, Cascade Heights and Suncrest elementary schools and at the Marian Learning Resource Centre.

This important community project will be using district land as part of solving the problem of childcare shortage in Burnaby, as proposed by the Burnaby Board of Education. Klondike Contracting is committed to working with the School District and its multiple partners toward providing these daycare spaces for the community!
