Klondike Contracting is in the midst of a tenant improvement project for the University of British Columbia and we couldn’t resist letting our readers in on the news! Our client – named among the top 50 universities in the world and the second-best school in Canada – is committed to providing the best faculties to their students and community in residence and we’re excited to assist them.

Designed by KRA Architecture, this construction project involves an interim Counselling Facility and Clinic for UBC Integrated Health, which is part of the new Brock Commons Phase 2 Student Housing Development (a phase envisioning a range of student-focused academic and services spaces). This facility is vital as a hub for essential student services located strategically amongst student housing, recreation facilities, social amenities and food services.

UBC Health facilitates revolutionary cross-cutting research collaboration in areas such as mental health, nutrition and diabetes, and we’re delighted to play a part in upgrading their health education facilities!
