Klondike Contracting has just started another tenant improvement project for our current client, WorkSafe BC! We are embarking on a Fibre Distribution Rooms Consolidation Project in which we will provide the necessary building infrastructure to support the relocation of the company’s relocation of core network switches and production equipment for the WCB Richmond Complex,
This project will include:
- Changes to interior walls, floors and ceilings
- New communications infrastructure, fibre distribution the communications closets and copper backbone
- New fibre distribution room cooling systems including outdoor units on existing roofs
- New double interlock pre-action sprinkler systems with integration to the existing fire alarm system
Klondike Contracting will be conducting the entire project’s scope in two phases to better facilitate the use of the current space and we’re eager to commence work for this statutory agency. WorkSafe BC is responsible for 45,000 sick or injured workers and more than 4,000 spouses and children who depend on pension payments. It administers an insurance system paid into by 238,000 B.C. employers, where workers give up their right to sue employers for negligence in exchange for no-fault compensation that is independently administered.
Be sure to check out our blog in the coming weeks for more updates to this project!
